ELDOA is a safe and effective stretching technique that uses total body muscular lengthening to normalize the tissues around a joint. ELDOA postures are primarily for the spine but also include other peripheral joints. Beginners always welcome.
What happens in an ELDOA class?
Each class begins with a circulatory warm up, followed by a mobility warm up. The class then moves on to the ELDOA’s with some added myofascial stretches where needed. The class is structured to include an exercise (ELDOA) for each segment of the spine – lumbar, thoracic, and cervical. We sometimes include ELDOA’s for the SI joint, hips, and shoulder girdle.
