Join one of our sound and music offerings to feel rejuvenated, reduce stress, and connect with others. Participants often note a feeling of renewal, vigor, excitement, and calm. In addition, some classes offer space to connect with others and build relationships within the community.
Try an expressive drumming class to de-stress, have fun, or to try something new. Collective drumming connects a roomful of people into the present moment. This ‘no experience necessary class’ can be a great way to reduces stress, create community, and increase energy. Please bring a drum or other hand instruments. A small number of instruments will be available to experiment with.
You will be guided through a breathing relaxation practice that will be followed by the sounds of crystal singing bowls and other soothing instruments. This session can help with reducing stress, assisting with deep stillness and meditation, and improving immune function. You will learn simple breathing techniques to calm the body and mind and explore ways to use aromatherapy for relaxation. No meditation experiment necessary.
Your only task here is to be comfortable. Blankets, pillows and comfortable mats are provided, but feel free to bring your own. A gently guided relaxation experience will be followed by the sounds of crystal singing bowls, gongs and the sounds of other instruments. The evocative nature of these sounds can support a person’s movement through emotions and also deepen awareness.
